Have you registered for the American Pets Alive! Conference yet? If not, you still have time!

The national lifesaving conference was rescheduled from last September to February of this year as a result of Hurricane Harvey. The new dates are February 10-12, 2018. The schedule will remain the same, only the dates have changed. You can see the full schedule on their website.

What’s new this year? Plenty! Below are just a few things you can look forward to…

  • Class formats for every attendee: This year they are featuring 4 different formats: presentation, panels, workshops and masterclasses for every learning style.
  • Featured MasterClass: Dog Behavior: In this informal and intimate setting, attendees will have the opportunity to sit down with the Dog Behavior experts from Dogs Playing for Life and Austin Pets Alive!. Each presenter will be ready and willing to offer advice and solutions for your efforts to save the lives of your shelter’s “behavior dogs”. See full description
  • Featured MasterClass: Bottle Baby Kittens: From Nursery to Foster: Learn how to save more kittens. Topics covered include prioritization of pulls, recruiting and managing fosters, and improving survival rates. See full description

Register today so you can get the tools you need to learn more about the politics, rescue, and fundraising efforts necessary to build a No Kill community! We hope to see you there!
