Have you ever found yourself thinking, “You know, we should really…” do something to help save more animals? Is your idea of daydreaming coming up with new ways to increase your animal organization’s lifesaving? Then it’s time for that dream to pay off, to the tune of $350,000!

The 2018 Innovation Showdown will be awarding up to that amount for your great animal lifesaving ideas, thanks to Showdown partners Petco Foundation, Maddie’s Fund^®, the ASPCA, the Jackson Galaxy Project, The Humane Society of the United States, Best Friends Animal Society, Michelson Found Animals and the Watershed Animal Fund.

Applications will be made in the form of video pitches describing your idea and explaining why it’s needed to save more lives;  cell phone-quality video is fine. You’ll also need a brief written description of your lifesaving idea and your organization’s data. Three finalists will be selected to pitch their ideas live on stage at HSUS Animal Care Expo to a panel of Innovation Investors representing the country’s top animal welfare organizations.

Each organization may submit two ideas, but only one can be selected as a finalist. The deadline to apply is Friday, February 16, at 5 PM Central Time.
