Lost animals know there really is no place like home. That’s why ten national organizations are collaborating to bring you the very first Return to Home grant opportunity (traditionally known as “Return to Owner”) with the No Place Like Home Challenge!
The goal of the Challenge is to make Return to Home (RTH) part of your culture. We know it doesn’t happen overnight, but small steps lead to BIG results. A simple microchipping campaign can go a long way in getting lost pets back to their owners. Learn more about the eight Return to Home practices you can implement for the Challenge.
In addition to availability of $150,000 in grant prizes, two organizations are offering additional incentives. Adoptimize is offering free access to their services for an entire year to any organization participating the Challenge. The Association for Animal Welfare Advancement will award up to 15 individual annual memberships and 50 organizations will be chosen to win a FREE registration for The Association’s next virtual conference!
Registration has been extended to Monday, January 18th at 5p PST. The Challenge begins March 1, 2021 and concludes on March 31, 2021.
This challenge is funded by Maddie’s Fund® and Michelson Found Animals Foundation, in collaboration with Adoptimize, the ASPCA, The Association for Animal Welfare Advancement, Best Friends Animal Society, HeARTs Speak, the Humane Society of the United States, National Animal Care and Control Association and Petco Foundation.
