Maddie’s CenterSM doesn’t open until 2015, but dogs and cats in our community need help now! So beginning February 1, 2014, Maddie’s Fund is joining forces with Tri-Valley Animal Rescue (TVAR) to expand TVAR’s efforts to rescue, care for and find homes for homeless pets.
Our foster program will provide pets with high quality care and support while in loving foster homes until they are adopted. We will also provide some volunteer support to East County Animal Shelter.
The goal of our foster program is to help save the lives of homeless pets in Alameda County. We plan to accomplish this by transferring from municipal agencies the dogs and cats other organizations aren’t able to accept. Our program will focus on pets with treatable conditions — wonderful pets who need a little extra help so they can live a happy life.
