Spring registration is now open for the University of Florida’s course in Shelter Animal Behavior and Welfare!
This course will help veterinary students evaluate the quality of a shelter’s behavioral health programs as well as implement changes to promote welfare and placement of sheltered dogs and cats. The course also explores important concepts related to shelter animal behavior and welfare; such as behavioral assessments, behavioral modification protocols, diagnosis and management/treatment of common behavioral problems.
