If your shelter or rescue group needs to improve its online fundraising and cause awareness — and who doesn’t? — then they can’t afford to turn their back on the science of social media.

If your only exposure to social media is sharing pets who need help, family photos and rants about issues of the day, you may be saying, “Science?” But there is a data-based foundation to social media, and without understanding it, animal organizations are probably wasting a lot of the time they spend on their Facebook pages, Twitter accounts and other social platforms.

On Tuesday, Sept, 15, at 1 PM Eastern Time, the OnGood network and Nonprofit Tech for Good will present a free webinar on “The Science of Social Networks: 10 Tips and Tricks.” You can find more information and register here.

Note: If you’re not able to attend the live event, there will be no archived version. However, comprehensive notes will be provided to every registrant, so sign up even if you aren’t sure you can make it!
