Would you like local veterinarians to help foster orphaned kittens for your rescue group or shelter? Would the clinics be more willing to participate if they were offered some PR support? Or are you a veterinary practice that is already fostering kittens, or would like to, but could use some help getting them adopted, as well as spreading the word about the good work you’re doing?
Maddie’s Institute® has developed a simple plan to let veterinary practices use social media to create excitement about the kittens, find loving homes for them when they’re old enough to be adopted, and educate followers.
It includes sample posts intended to be used with your own photos. It also contains a timeline with kitten developmental milestones, and can be adapted to different ages and numbers of kittens. It can also be used by rescue groups and shelters directly with a few tweaks!
If you’d like to give it a try, you can download it here. Feel free to use, edit, amend and share it. It’s kitten season — everyone can use a little help!
And don’t forget to spread the #fosterkittenlove!
