Looking for the latest in sheltering innovations, and help with writing shelter protocols? You won’t want to miss the ASPCA Cornell Maddie’s® Shelter Medicine Conference, scheduled for July 29-31, 2016, on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, NY.

Now in its twelfth year, the conference will cover two and a half days with four tracks jammed full of information that will make the lives of shelter animals better. Registration fees are as follows:

  • DVMs: $100
  • LVTs: $50
  • Board members, administrators, staff, volunteers, individuals: $25
  • Students: Free with ID

The full conference agenda is here, and you can register at this link.

If you can stick around for the Monday after the conference, there’s a bonus this year:

Do you struggle to find time and resources for writing protocols for your shelter? Is this task forever on your to-do list?

Bring your most challenging protocol problems to an interactive, mediated workshop led by the faculty of the Maddie’s® Shelter Medicine Program.

All shelter veterinarians are welcome, regardless of whether you have many working protocols, or many blank pages. We will work through common conditions together, as well as provide for small group development and networking opportunities.
