Have you applied for an Innovation Grant yet? Hurry! The window is open, but it will only last until May 22.
We’re kicking off this Innovation Grant cycle by congratulating the recipients from last quarter, and hoping you’ll be inspired by their ideas!
“We’re excited that there were so many applications… nearly 500!” said Kelly Clardy, Grants Specialist at Maddie’s Fund®. “It’s great seeing all of the amazing ideas out there. I especially love all the new programs that are designed to keep pets with their owners, offering resources like free vet care, food or behavior resources to help people keep their pets and not have to surrender them to shelters.”
Out of those nearly 500 applicants, 67 received a grant. “You must submit a completed application and meet our grant requirements to be eligible,” said Clardy. “The majority of applicants were declined either because their application was incomplete, or they didn’t meet all the grant requirements.”
As a reminder, Maddie’s Fund is offering up to $5,000 to implement a lifesaving new program, or add onto an existing program at your shelter or rescue organization. A total of $250,000 is available to be awarded each grant cycle.
Join us in congratulating last quarter’s recipients below, then apply for your very own innovation grant today. And, for the love of animals, don’t forget to triple check that your application is complete before you submit!
