When the shelter names you ‘Tumbleweed,’ it’s a safe bet you’re on the scruffy side. That was certainly true of this little dog who came into California’s San Jose Animal Care Center.

He was matted and dirty and didn’t look like anyone’s dream dog.

Fortunately, the veterinary team saw through the scruff to the charming, happy little dog inside. They worked their grooming magic on him, and the next thing you know… Cutest. Dog. Ever!

Seeing this transformation will probably make your weekend so bright it will hurt your eyes.
