Three years ago, we took a page out of REI’s handbook and asked: What if, instead of battling the madness at the mall this year, you spent the day after Thanksgiving with the ones who warm your soul? It seems we struck a chord, as hundreds of thousands of people across America eagerly vowed to skip the lines on Black Friday and instead, celebrate the first #PetFriday with us that year and the year before.
Now it’s time for the Third Annual #PetFriday, and we’re inviting you to spend quality time celebrating the incredible bond between you and your pets today — and tell the world about it.
One thing we know for sure, there’s no right or wrong way to celebrate. So whether you #OptOutside or #OptInside makes no difference to us! Just spend time with your furry family members and soak up the joy that a crowded store could never provide. Take a walk, go on a road trip, read a book or just do nothing and do it together!
Whatever you decide, remember to snap a picture and share it on social media using #PetFriday. And for the love of pets everywhere, help spread the word! Feel free to snag our graphics and share them everywhere!
