Whether you made it to our technology session at Animal Care Expo last month or not, we have great resources to help you save more lives with the power of tech!

The session pulled together a panel of experts in animal welfare technology: Dr. Sheila D’Arpino, Director of Research for Maddie’s Fund®; Lars Rabbe, Maddie’s Fund Chief Innovation Officer; Greg Lucas, founder of Shelterluv; Dr. Michael Greenberg, Target Zero; David Meyer, CEO of AdoptAPet.com.

You can view the entire session at the video below, but we’ve also compiled all the systems and technologies the panelists discussed in one place, from donor management software and rehoming tools to discount software, training and more. Some of these tools, like Doobert, a pet transport tool, are specific to animal welfare, while others, like Google Grants and Evernote, are for general use.

It’s important to note that many of these tools are free. If you decide that your organization needs more bells and whistles, many of these companies offer discounts for non-profits. Don’t forget to check!

You can view the technology directory and bookmark it for future use. And, don’t forget to join Maddie’s® Pet Forum. Many of the tools are also discussed on the Forum. There you can gain tips and tricks from shelter professionals who are already using some of these tools.
