The countdown to Petco’s Innovation Showdown has begun!

If your organization has an innovative lifesaving idea, now is the time to share it.

The 2019 Innovation Showdown will be awarding up to $400,000 for your incredible animal lifesaving ideas, thanks to Showdown partners Petco Foundation, AnneNberg Foundation, Maddie’s Fund^®, the ASPCA^®, the Jackson Galaxy Project, Best Friends Animal Society, Michelson Found Animals Foundation and the Watershed Animal Fund.

Applications will be made in the form of video pitches describing your idea and explaining why it’s needed to save more lives. You’ll also need a brief written description of your lifesaving idea and your organization’s data. Three finalists will pitch their ideas live on stage at HSUS Animal Care Expo in New Orleans on April 17 to a panel of Innovation Investors representing the country’s top animal welfare organizations.

Each organization may submit two ideas, but only one can be selected as a finalist. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, January 15, at 5 PM Central Time.
