The stories that have come out of the wildfires in California have been both heartbreaking and heartwarming. This one is no exception.

A month to the day that the Northern California Camp Fire started, Timber the cat was found.

According to The Dodo, Courtney Werblow and her parents were escorted back to her parent’s destroyed home in Paradise, California, to see if anything could be saved.

Amazingly, Timber appeared. She had disappeared shortly before the flames forced them to evacuate, and they feared they would never see her again. Even more amazing, she was found to be in good health.
