The Shelter Pet Project recently launched their new campaign #AdoptPureLove with the help of actresses Olivia Munn, Rachel Bloom, NFL football player Logan Ryan, and a special young lady named Ahyna.

Ahyna has Asperger’s syndrome and thanks to her cat Lucky, feels calmer when she is around. She says they have a deep connection.

Her mother Giselle says that Lucky is very good with Ahyna. “I’ve seen adults react to my daughter when she has meltdowns like she’s from a different planet,” Giselle said. “And this little animal just sat next to my child, and was like, you know it’s going to be cool.”
