Have you registered for this year’s Best Friends National Conference in Dallas? The conference officially kicks off on July 24 and runs through July 27, with pre-conference workshops being held on July 24.   

We will be hosting a half-day Pre-conference Workshop, “Foster is the Future: Building a Robust Foster Pet Program,” on July 24 from 12 – 5pm. This 5-hour, $25 workshop is for both those with established foster programs looking for ways to improve, as well as those looking to start up a program.  

And to strengthen your foster program further, check out Kelly Duer’s foster-focused session on Friday, July 26 from 10:30 – 11:45am, “It Takes a Village: Cultivating a Community of Pet Fostering.” You’ll learn all about how to put your foster recruitment into high gear, get more pets into foster homes and build a community around fostering.   

Lastly, don’t forget to visit our booth throughout the conference! Play a game, win a grant (not to mention some majestic socks) and learn about our brand-new lifesaving tool! We’re celebrating our 25th anniversary with our new campaign, “Who’s A Good Human” all Thanks to Maddie.
