With January behind us, what better time to enter your January 2021 Shelter Animals Count (SAC) data? If you haven’t completed your 2020 data, it’s not too late to add that either!
After you have entered all your organization’s data, be sure to explore the data on the Data Dashboards. There, you can study data from different parts of the country, view the national 2020 timeline and more.
Data plays an important role in the animal welfare sector. It has enabled our industry to compile a more realistic picture of the animals entering and leaving shelters. Be sure to see how your data compares to those in other states or look up the data of specific organizations with SAC’s Data Dashboards.
This also serves as a reminder that shelter and rescue organizations must be active participants in Shelter Animals Count to be eligible for Maddie’s Fund® grants.
Update your data and/or register on Shelter Animals Count’s website.
