You may remember us mentioning we have a few surveys coming your way this winter. Here’s a NEW one about shelter behavior practices.

Supporting and making outcome decisions for dogs with behavioral concerns is a challenge for many shelters, so we’re looking to do an assessment of current shelter behavior practices. This survey primarily focuses on dogs, because you’ve told us that you struggle more with dog than cat behavior.

If you’re a government or private animal shelter with a physical building, please take this short survey to tell us about your organization’s shelter behavior practices. We want to hear from you whether your organization has a strong behavior program, you’re just getting started, or don’t have one at all.

The survey will take around 15 minutes to complete and your organization will be entered into a random drawing to win one of ten $100 gift cards.

We’re looking for one response per organization so please have the person most familiar with your organization’s shelter behavior programs respond to this survey.  All responses will be anonymous. Results will be shared in a summarized manner and won’t identify individual shelters or people. (While we LOVE foster-based organizations, they’re not the focus of this survey.)
