We’re excited to share that Maddie’s^® University offers a growing number of self-paced courses in Spanish, on topics ranging from kitten bottle feeding, bringing a new dog home, shelter customer service and more!

Below are the courses currently available in Spanish, with more in the works:

• Eliminando el Miedo a la Alimentación con Biberón y Cuidado Básico de Gatitos (Eliminating the Fear of Bottle Feeding and Basic Kitten Care)
• Llevando a un Nuevo Perro a Casa (Bringing a New Dog Home)
• Fundamentos de la Comunicación Canina y Manejo Seguro de Perros (Fundamentals of Canine Communication and Safe Dog Handling)
• Servicio al Cliente para Refugios de Animales (Customer Service for Animal Shelters)

Maddie’s^® University also now features an Accessibility and Translation Toolbar.  To view, click the button on the top left of the screen on the webpage. From this toolbar, you can access text-to-speech, change the font size and background color, use a ruler and screen mask to focus your attention on particular text, and translate text and audio into 134 languages, among other features. You can see a guide to all the features by clicking the information button in the Accessibility and Translation toolbar. In addition, all on-demand presentations are uploaded to YouTube so learners can access closed-caption translations.
