Want to learn more about testing for infectious diseases in animal shelters, and apply for a shelter vaccine grant at the same time?

Boehringer Ingelheim (BI), through its BIVI Shelter Team, will be presenting a free webinar onInfectious Disease Testing in 2016: What the Shelter Veterinarian Needs to Know.” Given by Richard E. Goldstein, DVM, DACVIM, DECVIM-CA, the webinar will be available to view as of January 26, 2016.

Watch it with your staff to learn how to screen for and diagnose infectious disease in shelters. Specific case examples and recommended testing algorithms will also be discussed.

Immediately following the webinar, you will be given the opportunity to apply for a special vaccine grant awarded by GreaterGood.org. The application will include questions pertaining to the webinar content, so be sure to pay close attention! GreaterGood.org will award grants to several groups each month based on need. The vaccine grants consist of dog and cat vaccines commonly used by shelters; the grant values vary but start at $1,000 per grant.
