Could your animal shelter or rescue group use some extra money? How about $1,000?

Maddie’s Fund^® is giving $1,000 to shelters and rescue organizations who sign up for Shelter Animals Count (SAC) between now and April 30.

Shelter Animals Count is the only collaborative initiative to create and share a national database of sheltered animal statistics, providing facts and enabling insights that will save lives. “Thanks to Maddie, this incentive will help boost our participant membership,” said SAC board chair Jodi Lytle Buckman. “As more shelters join the National Database, we move closer to having a true understanding of the numbers of pets entering and leaving our nation’s animal shelters, ultimately leading to opportunities for a positive impact on homeless pets.”

If your organization is already signed up — or once you are — you can earn an additional $500 for every qualified group you refer that completes the registration process.
